The October 14, 2011 deadline to submit your application for the 2012 Governmental Relations Division Externship Program is rapidly approaching. This program gives students an opportunity to meet with members of Congress and congressional staffers to advocate for issues of importance to veterinary medicine. The GRD Externship Program is an opportunity to use what you’ve learned in veterinary school and apply it outside of a clinical setting.
