Put Your Stamp on Wildlife Conservation

The AVMA is a proud member of the Multinational Species Coalition, and we couldn’t be happier that recent efforts by the group will help protect endangered species around the globe. Now we’re asking for your help.

As part of the coalition, the AVMA played a major role in the successful passage of legislation that created the Save Vanishing Species stamp. Available through the U.S. Postal Service, the stamp will benefit some of our planet’s most iconic species – tigers, rhinos, great apes, marine turtles, and African and Asian elephants. You can buy the stamp at any U.S. Post Office or online through USPS.com. It costs 55 cents – only 11 cents more than a regular First Class stamp – and net proceeds directly support efforts to save some of the world’s most-threatened wildlife.

This is the first time that Americans can purchase a new postage stamp that directly benefits international wildlife conservation. It’s a small investment that can go a long way in protecting and preserving these magnificent creatures.
