OH, I am so mad. Wal Mart, rather than remove the puppy food…put it on SALE for $5 a bag. I bought three, since was what my Chihuahua always ate.
YES, he got sick and I never knew what caused it. But he refuses to eat it since I nursed him back with rice, pediolyte, and cooked chicken breast.

NOW am wondering if any long term damage.
I recommend NOW! dog food. Anyone have
info about long term affects from the IAMS
toxin OR about what we should do to Walmart for
    their selling it?

Iams is the lower form of Eukanuba – and for a long time has
had problems with its food. People should be concerned about the
other pet product it also produces – I agree @ Allison – don’t fall
for advertisment or above all COUPONS>>>>>>>>>

now where DO they PURCHASE their grain from and what other manufactureres MIGHT BE involved as well ?
iams can’t have this market all to themselves.
and Tiffany ? they’ve been in recalls before and there are alternatives out there for a quality food .

Any food including food for human consumption can be recalled. There are plenty of good foods that have been recalled, and many times they are voluntarily recalled prior to any mandatory recalls due to the company wanting to be safe for all of us. Iams is a good food along with many other dog/cat food brands out there. Feeding a food such as this makes sure your pet is getting a well balanced meal, and making sure all of the nutritional needs are meant. It is very hard for people to do this with homemade diets.

@Allison Allison, Do you make your own pet food? Can you recommend a place to go for healthy recipes, to make your own pet food. Is there a company out there that does make decent food for our beloved babies? I know a lot of questions, but was hoping you would share your knowledge..

It never ceases to amaze me that people still believe that commercial pet food companies have your pet’s best interest at heart. Commercial pet food companies put the lowest quality ingredients in pet food…diseased and decaying meats…and rotting grains. Iams is one of the WORST pet foods on the market. Consumer’s should do a little investigating when they choose a food for their pet…Please don’t fall for the manufacturer’s advertising.
