The American Veterinary Medical Foundation does a lot of great things for animals and the veterinary community. From offering financial assistance in times of disaster and emergency, to funding veterinary scholarships and animal-health studies, the AVMF’s efforts span the spectrum of veterinary philanthropy. The foundation’s efforts wouldn’t be possible without the generous financial support of so many of our members, private citizens and corporate partners.
Like all charitable groups, however, we can always do more, because there is always a need. That’s where you and the AVMF Ambassador for Animals program come in. The newly launched Ambassador for Animals program allows you – our members – to reach out to the public to inform them about the valuable work the AVMF performs and how they can help make a difference in the lives of both animals and people. All you need to do to get started is to contact the AVMF’s Cindy Rutkowski at firstname.lastname@example.org. Cindy will make sure that you get a supply of Ambassador for Animals brochures that you can display and distribute in your practice. You can also get more information about the program on the AVMF website.
The AVMF has awarded grants totaling more than $10 million over the last decade. As the only national charitable organization with expert veterinarians directing its funding, the AVMF – and all of those who support it – unequivocally impact the lives and well-being of animals every day. We invite you to join our efforts.
