Are you interested in learning more about how laws are made in the country and having an influence on those laws? Then consider applying to AVMA’s Fellowship Program, which offers veterinarians a unique opportunity to spend a year in Washington, D.C., working on Capitol Hill as a scientific resource to members of Congress and their staff.
The program is intended to help veterinarians gain an in-depth understanding of the governmental process and gain insight into the future of science and the veterinary profession. At same time, fellows assist in creating legislative policies that will affect our nation and profession.
The deadline to apply to the 2014-2015 program is Feb. 14, 2014. For more information, including how to apply, visit AVMA Fellowship or call Stephanie Fisher at 202-289-3208. Questions can also be sent by email to email@example.com.
