AVMA Annual Convention: Get inspired!

Denver-area veterinarians love their city, and they want to share it with you during the AVMA’s Annual Convention. From education to entertainment, events to exhibits, you’ll be informed, inspired and in-touch with the brightest minds in the profession as they gather July 25-29.

Here’s a rundown of the top reasons to attend the AVMA Convention in the Mile High City:

  • Continuing education. Earn up to 45 hours of CE.  With more than 1,000 CE sessions to choose from, you can customize your schedule to fit your needs. Choose from the largest variety of formats and topics to make the most of your continuing education experience. And be sure not to miss exciting programs by Temple Grandin, who will discuss ways to reduce stress on animals; “Visibility Coach” David Avrin, who will share why “It’s Not Who You know, It’s Who Knows You!”; and Todd Tams, who will explore a variety of topics in internal medicine.
  • Fun events and entertainment. Nothing compares to the beauty and utter coolness of the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the only naturally occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheater in the world and the location of our AVMA Concert featuring the Eli Young Band. Check this place off your bucket list and enjoy a night of music and fun under Colorado’s star-studded skies. We also invite you to join us for Family Night at Elitch Gardens Theme Park. And be sure to attend Back to Nature with the AVMF – A Rocky Mountain Evening at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
  • First-rate city. Visit Denver for its night life, fine and performing arts, its scenic mountains and a veritable playground of outdoor attractions, events and beauty.

Visit our convention webpage for more details on educational programing, speakers and events. If you register by April 28, you’ll save $100 off the registration fee. We hope to see you there!
