National Flood Safety Awareness Week: March 16-22

Did you know every U.S. state and territory is vulnerable to flooding? Floods can occur any time of year and the source of the flooding varies based on the weather, the terrain, and the groundcover. During National Flood Safety Awareness Week the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency (NOAA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are highlighting things you can do to prepare for floods and actions to take if you are faced with a flood.
