Interested in shaping key legislation that affects the veterinary profession and the health and welfare of our nation’s animals? Apply to AVMA’s Fellowship Program!
The fellowship program offers veterinarians a unique opportunity to spend a year in Washington, D.C., working on Capitol Hill as a paid, scientific resource to members of Congress and their staff. It is a great opportunity for veterinarians at all stages in their careers to participate in the legislative process and influence public policy.
The 2015-2016 AVMA Fellowship Program will run in conjunction with the American Association for the Advancement of Science’s Fellowship Program from the last week in August 2015 until early August 2016. The deadline to apply is Feb. 6, 2015.
