Are you an AVMA member living in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island or Vermont? If so, you still have time to vote in the AVMA Board of Directors District 1 election, and we urge you to cast your ballot today.
We are extending the election deadline until Sunday, April 3, at 11:59 p.m. ET. With the inception of the AVMA’s new electronic voting process this year, we want to ensure that all voters have an opportunity to participate in the process and have their voice be heard.
Voting in District 1 began March 1, and we thank you if you have already cast your ballot. If you haven’t, please be on the lookout for an email from AVMAelection@avma.org with a subject line of AVMA District 1 Election – Vote Now! Each AVMA member in District 1 who has provided us a valid email address should receive a personalized email containing instructions to access their unique electronic voting ballot. Members who do not have a valid email address should have received a paper ballot that they will use to record their vote. Both the email and paper ballots will be tabulated and certified by an independent third party. (If you’re not sure if we have a valid email address for you, this is a great time to visit our Member Center to check your profile and update your information.)
The District 1 Board of Director candidates are Drs. Karen Bradley and Arnold Goldman. We’ll be sure to provide the election results on our website as soon as they are available.
Thank you for voting!
