We recently wrapped up a successful 2016 AVMA Convention in San Antonio, and it’s never too early to get excited about and plan for 2017, this time in the convention-friendly city of Indianapolis, Ind.
No matter what your interest, you can explore it and ignite your passion for veterinary medicine at the AVMA Convention. Participate in hands-on labs, interactive learning sessions, and panels and lectures taught by the best and the brightest in the veterinary field. Meet your CE requirements, connect with peers, and learn about products and services that will enhance your practice and your career.
You won’t find a more complete lineup of veterinary CE anyplace else. Our 2016 conference in San Antonio offered nearly 1,000 CE sessions (989, to be exact), and we’ve already started collecting proposals for 2017 courses in these curriculum tracks:
- Companion Animal Medicine
- Food Animal/Equine
- Interactive Laboratory/Workshop
- Practice Management
- Professional Development
- Public & Corporate Practice
- Veterinary Technology
Our 2017 convention runs July 21-25 at the Indiana Convention Center, a facility with the unique distinction of having more skywalk connections to neighboring hotels than any other in the nation. The convention center also is linked to a four-story urban shopping mall, and is surrounded by more than 200 restaurants and clubs, well-known sports venues, and a 10-block state park that features top museums, green space and a convenient canal walk.
In addition to being a top-notch source of veterinary CE, AVMA Convention is a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new colleagues. It’s fun, it’s energizing, and it will reinvigorate the passions that brought you into the field of veterinary medicine. The video below shows highlights from our 2016 meeting, and we can promise you’ll have just as much fun next July in Indianapolis.
Come visit Indy and join thousands of your veterinary colleagues at AVMA Convention 2017! You won’t want to miss it, so put the dates on your calendar today. Follow the AVMA Convention on Facebook and Twitter for updates on what we’ve got planned.
