Winter is just beginning, but AVMA Convention 2017 is getting spruced up for next summer—starting with a new website! The entire convention website has been redesigned to make it easier for you to use. Finding information is a breeze, and the design is a breath of fresh air. Whether you visit on a smartphone, tablet, desktop or laptop computer, you’ll find an improved user experience and enhanced site navigation. Check out the new look and feel at avmaconvention.org.
With the launch of the new site, you can find information about registration fees, discounts and an overview of Continuing Education (CE) at the convention. Additionally, you can see an outline of the schedule as well as highlighted convention events and city attractions that you won’t want to miss!
More exciting features to come
Just as the convention website has been redesigned with you in mind, other improvements are coming in the near future to enhance your attendee experience. For example, the following NEW features will soon be available:
- Easy registration process – Registration opening February 21, 2017
- Searchable CE schedule – Filter by speaker name, time, keyword or topic
- Customized planning feature – Make the most out of your time at AVMA Convention 2017
PLUS, we are launching the hotel booking resource earlier than in previous years. Indianapolis is a bustling city, and there are other events taking place while AVMA Convention 2017 is in town. With that in mind, we want to give you the ability to book your lodging and begin planning your trip as soon as possible. Sign up for AVMA Convention emails to stay abreast of hotel information, registration openings and deadlines, the AVMA Convention App and more.
NEW poster session – submissions now open
AVMA Convention 2017 is also introducing a poster session opportunity, and there’s still time to suggest topics. Submit your poster ideas by January 31, 2017, for a chance to share your knowledge with others in the veterinary community. If your poster idea is accepted, you’ll qualify for a complimentary convention registration! Poster topics can include:
- Basic research
- Clinical research
- Case reports or interesting cases
- Useful tips or techniques for clinical practice
