Adrian Hochstadt

Adrian directs the AVMA’s state legislative and regulatory initiatives and has played a key role in creating and implementing its state advocacy program since 2005. He has 20 years experience in managing government affairs programs and association management, including service at American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Bar Association and Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. 

Adrian has a law degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law and an undergraduate degree from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. He earned the Certified Association Executive designation from the American Society of Association Executives in 1999, and currently serves as chair of the Public Policy Committee of the Association Forum of Chicagoland.  Adrian was born in Romania, became a naturalized citizen at the age of 18, and now lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife, three kids and Muffin the black cat. He enjoys travel, sports and keeping up with current political events.
