Update – December 2013: If you’re an AVMA member and want to renew your membership for 2014, you can do so at avma.org/renew.
When we launched the online membership renewal process a few years back, our goal was to make the whole process easier for everyone, especially our members. Instead of filling out forms and having to mail them back, all you need to do now is log-in to the membership area on our website to pay your dues for 2011. You’ll immediately receive a renewal confirmation via e-mail. You can also renew memberships for up to 25 veterinarians at once by using the same online dues payment tool.
This year, we sent more than 50,000 e-mails to our members reminding them of the online renewal option. The e-mails went out to those of you for whom we have a valid e-mail address. If you didn’t get one of these e-mails, it may be because we don’t have a valid e-mail address for you. If that’s the case, now would be a good time to log into My AVMA to verify your member information and update your e-mail address. So please check your member record today to ensure that we can reach you with valuable information. You’ll also find a variety of newsletters, and other products and services that will help you maximize your AVMA membership on the same page.
Don’t panic if you didn’t receive the renewal e-mail. We’ve also mailed membership renewal forms to every AVMA member who hasn’t renewed yet. And remember, regardless of how you renew, the deadline is Dec. 31.
