The U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP), which is a scientific, nonprofit organization that sets various standards for medicines, food ingredients, and dietary supplements worldwide, seeks comments from the veterinary profession on a draft new chapter, <800> Hazardous Drugs—Handling in Healthcare Settings, being proposed for the U.S. Pharmacopeia and The National Formulary (USP–NF). For more information on the draft chapter and how to submit your comments to the USP, visit the USP’s website. The comment deadline is July 31, 2014.
