DEN18_Keynote-Blog-300x300_1117The AVMA is proud to announce Shiza Shahid will be the keynote speaker in Denver at AVMA Convention 2018, taking place July 13-17, 2018.

Shahid grew up in Pakistan as a vocal advocate for social change. She has extended that advocacy to women entrepreneurs throughout her career, which includes her role as founding CEO of the Malala Fund with Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai. Unsurprisingly, Shahid's passion and hard work have earned her many awards and opportunities, and we know her words will speak directly to our veterinary colleagues and their wide variety of passions.

Join the AVMA and thousands of your colleagues to hear this entrepreneur, investor, speaker and women's rights advocate as she shares her passion for leveraging philanthropy, venture capital, technology and the media to drive scalable social impact.

As an association committed to diversity and inclusion in the veterinary profession, as well as practice profitability and professional development, we can’t wait to welcome her to AVMA Convention 2018 as our featured keynote speaker!
