When we talk with our members, you consistently tell us how much you love AVMA-provided CE. Our instructors and curricula are second to none, and our unwavering commitment to advance the veterinary profession lets you know you can trust us to deliver high-quality, independent coursework.

We’re excited to announce a new webinar series that brings you even more of the high-quality CE you love – covering topics you have requested, and with added convenience that makes it easy to include in your busy schedule.

Introducing Lead & Learn: high-quality digital CE classes, available both live and on demand, that provide insight and continuing education on the topics that are top of mind for today’s veterinarians – topics like cannabis, practice efficiency, personal finances, and leadership skills.

Each course offers 1 hour of veterinary CE credit. Sessions are free of charge, with live webinars presented at convenient times, both in the daytime and evening. For AVMA members unable to attend a live webinar, most classes also will be available in recorded format on demand, beginning about a week after the live session. The live webinars will be open to all veterinary professionals, but recorded sessions will be available exclusively to AVMA members. The inaugural 2018 series will be supported by an educational grant from Zomedica.

The series kicks off next month with a June 6 class, Veterinarians as Leaders: Counseling Clients and Others About Assistance Animals.  Dr. Zenithson Ng, diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, will cover what veterinarians need to know about assistance animals to better serve clients and patients, support access to appropriate animals for those with disabilities, and assist in preventing fraud. Topics will include the need to accurately identify the various types of assistance animals and counsel clients regarding their selection, needed training, and care.

Upcoming webinars cover a range of topics, including financial health, leadership, career development, telehealth, practice issues, and advocacy.
