New resource helps you build stronger veterinary teams

Cohesive, collaborative teams are one of the mainstays of a positive work environment – and the veterinary profession is no exception. But strong teams don’t necessarily happen on their own. A new resource, available exclusively to AVMA members, offers ideas to help you bring team-building activities into your workplace.

Team-building Exercises: Three Paths to Stronger Teams provides step-by-step instructions for running a variety of team-based challenges and fun competitions at work. These activities will help you engage with your staff in exciting new ways, while offering opportunities for them to grow together, overcome challenges, and build camaraderie.

Studies have shown that positive workplace culture and healthy employee relationships may have a significant impact on important business metrics for veterinary practices. The new team-building activity guide joins a suite of other AVMA tools designed to help manage and build a stronger team for your business:
