Take our survey to strengthen AVMA’s advocacy

Veterinarians across the nation serve as trusted community leaders with important local connections to policymakers. That’s great for our profession – because sometimes local connections are the best tool for moving the needle on the national issues that most affect veterinary medicine.

To leverage these community ties, we have to understand them. We need your help to do that.

The AVMA is conducting a survey to better understand our members' network of relationships with elected officials, how interested you are in certain public policy issues, and whether you want to take a more active role in advocating for veterinary medicine in the public policy arena.

This information will help us most effectively leverage the collective power of our 93,000-plus members to support public policy that improves the lives of veterinarians, our patients, and our clients. It also will help us know when you want to hear from us, and what topics you want to hear about, so we can better meet your needs.
