Equine scholarships offered

The AAEP and the American Live Stock Insurance Company are providing scholarships to fourth-year veterinary students. Six $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to students who plan to enter private equine practice after graduation.
The scholarship application is open to AAEP student members attending colleges of veterinary medicine in the United States or Canada. Each veterinary college may nominate one candidate and may determine the criteria for selecting that candidate. Successful applicants will be notified in December 2000. The deadline for applications is Oct 1.
