Legislative discrimination

Veterinarians are compassionate, trustworthy and highly educated people. Their race, religion, cultural background, ethnicity, age, disability status, veteran status, gender, gender identity and sexual orientation do not change these facts, or the fact that they are human beings who are morally and ethically entitled to fair and equal treatment. While we value and support all of these characteristics, we do not believe any of them to be mutually exclusive of another and cannot stand quietly when any characteristic is used as a source of discrimination.
