AVMA Veterinary Business and Economic Forum: Sharing solutions to shape success

The AVMA will welcome Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Chair Lina M. Khan to open next week’s 2023 AVMA Veterinary Business and Economic Forum with a special address.

FTC Chair Lina Khan

The FTC is focused on issues of interest to the veterinary profession—including non-compete agreements, mergers, and private-equity acquisitions. Khan’s address to forum attendees will provide an update on the FTC’s work, the insights generated during recent comment periods, and the FTC’s enforcement action plan.

Her presentation will kick off the forum on Tuesday, October 24, at noon Central Time.

Attend online; it’s not too late!

The annual AVMA Veterinary Business and Economic Forum will take place online over the course of two afternoons: October 24-25, 2023. Registration is still open, and AVMA members enjoy reduced pricing.

The forum also features the release of the latest and largest set of veterinary economic data, including updates on new veterinary graduates, veterinarians in the profession, veterinary businesses, and pet ownership trends.
